First off, im back and ive noticed that you guys NEED to make more threads XD.

Allright, to start this thread, i will include a story for what we did in our middle school a little while ago.
Its about our school dances.
Last dance, directly after,(it was about 8:30) 2 students did something that i do not need to say here, and for punishment, those 2 students were suspended for a while, are banned from future dances, and the school dance times have been moved to directly after school.
As soon as I heard this news, i immeditaly started a petition against it, and got staff and students to sign it, were a small school of around 500 students, i collected 300 signatures.
I turned it into the district office, and left, the super nintendint, idk how to spell it, lol, read it over.
Next day, i get called to the office, and they said they were glad I made a petition, but its not going to change anything.
Uproar in the school.
So, i told him, that this wasnt the end of this, and left. Lol, pretty daring to say to your principle eh?
So, the dance came, before hand, we told nobody to go, nobody did as according to plan, and we brought a big stereo at 6:00 at the school, when the dances started prior to this, and we had about 70 kids show up with us, and we had our dance then.
But, this big thing I did, was contact the newspaper, to go watch us revolt against it, by having our own dance in the school parking lot at the same time it used to be, and we got interviewed etc.
They wrote an article on it, saying that the school punished the whole school for something 2 kids did, without ANYBODIES consent, literarly.
The next day, the newspaper came back at 11:14, because we told them too, this, was because we got all the 7th and 8th graders to walk out of our classrooms, and refuse to return untill we got the dance times changed. It was a little wierd at first when it struck 11:14, but sure enouph, everybody left, I had to leave during a test lol.
The newspaper was there and everything. Making the school look terrible.
Long story short, we got the school dances back, and we returned to class, i finished that test that i had to leave with a B+.
SUCCESS!

Anyways, what are YOUR stories of revolting, have you ever done anything to revolt or protest something?
DissusiOn!
You may also discuss protests that you are not or were not personally involved in, including historically significant protests.
