Yup, originally planned for a 1998 release as the sequel to Duke Nukem 3D, it was never released because the project director was continually revising the script and asking the design teams for new features based off of what other games had, which caused them to have to switch game engines halfway through and start over multiple times. Eventually the studio in charge of the game went bankrupt.

The company kept investing money into thing after thing, continually changing it without ever deciding on something solid, and eventually selfdestructed. It's kind of funny, if you think about it.

And every year at E3 a teaser/live demo of the game would be shown and occasionally a release date set, it was always delayed, now though another studio has picked it up and a release it set for sometime this year.

The Enrichment Center apologizes for this late Valentine's Day post and is required to remind you not to look for subliminal advertising within the following video, as there is none. Happy Valentine's Day from the Enrichment Center.

A good point, though pre-orders are apparently up for it now.
