We've really dropped the ball when it comes to contests.
Let's start it back up again.
There are a lot of themes being posted for individual characters, but no themes for Magi Nation and JEZ. JEZ, if you don't remember, is the acronym for our clans' leaders, Jemini (Fire), Exodus (Water), and Zenith (Earth). They aren't actually royalty, as we have more of a three-part democracy than a triarchy, but they are our leader
My challenge for you is two-part.
Create a theme for Magi Nation. It is a nation, and as such, it should have a national anthem.
Create a theme for our leaders. They are neither technically royalty nor permanent, but they don't seem to be leaving any time soon. They should have something that people play for them on holidays that is about them. You know, like how people play for kings when they make public appearances.
These songs should have original tunes and original lyrics. If you don't have a guitar or piano at home (or don't know how to play), there are plenty of free programs to create music. No matter the quality of the program, as long as you can get your tune across, it is good. If you don't think your or your friends' singing voices are any good, we can make it work. If you want to make an instrumental as a theme, I'd rather have one with singing, but we'll see if it works.
The winners of both categories will be the official songs and will get a karma boost if someone who can do that approves.
Although this contest was posted in October, there isn't much October left, so if there aren't enough entries, it will be extended to November.
